VIVAnews - One year ago, today, on 27 November 2007, Indonesian President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, inaugurated the new building for PPATK (Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center). The new building is located at Ir. H. Juanda 35 Street, Jakarta.
PPATK was founded on 17th April 2002, through the enactment of Law no. 15/2002 concerning the crime of Money Laundering as amended by Law No. 25/2003. It is part of Indonesia's effort to join other countries in fighting transnational organized crime including money laundering and terrorist financing.
